About the Job
Great Impressions Signs is looking for a motivated and dependable Fabrication Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting the fabrication and production of custom signs and graphics.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and pays close attention to detail. Previous sign industry experience is not required—we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of custom signs.
- Help prepare materials for production.
- Assist with cutting, drilling, sanding, painting, and general shop work.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow instructions and work closely with other team members.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving sign materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good listening skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Welding experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or the sign industry is helpful but not required.
